Linocut 372 x 560mm.
Edition of 100
Constructed for The Hoover Company, the building was used for many years to manufacturer vacuum cleaners -’Hoovers’ - until the production facilities were moved elsewhere in the early 80’s. The building, Grade 2* listed, is now owned by Tesco and has been carefully restored.
This wonderful Art Deco design, described by its architect as ‘Fancy’, includes touches of Egyptian with a sprinkling of Aztec!
